Macadamia Nuts

Its internationally renown flavor evokes images of dazzling blue waters, dramatic volcanoes and the sound of steel guitars, it is the Hawaiian Macadamia Nut. Although native to the Australian rainforests, Hawaii was the site of the world's first commercial macadamia plantations. Macadamia nuts are perhaps the healthiest nut you can eat. High in mono-unsaturated fatty acid, consuming macadamia nuts has been found to reduce the overall cholesterol levels at least as well as the low fat American Heart Association diet. We hand process our macadamia nuts, that are picked from the macadamia nut orchard we tend here on our farm. We don't use any other nuts picked from other farms. This means we can process and deliver superior nuts compared with the large macadamia nut processing companies, that purchase nus from numerous farms and even from overseas. That's right, a number of large local nut processors here in Hawaii were caught using imported Australian nuts. Can you believe that? Australian nuts!
